Commercial and Military installations

We carry out the complete boat installations of engine, gearbox and drive systems plus the auxiliary marine genset, trim and electrical systems. We also install bow thrusters and stern thrusters. In addition we carry out all marine hydraulic works including tilting keels, marine stabilisers and hydraulic thrusters.

We assist in the design and ultimate construction of marine engineering solutions. This includes testing, construction, installation, sea trials and training.

Military works.

We have been privileged to assist Vosper Thorneycroft in the supply of a new fast multi-role rib designed for NATO navies. The rib is powered by Marine Diesel engines and Konrad drives.

Commercial works.

We have several projects either at the design stage or ongoing.. We have done work for the RNLI, Coastguard and police services.. We also work for a variety of commercial companies. Some examples are shown below.

Support and Training. All our projects are fully supported by us on a worldwide basis if required. We are currently providing support in Europe, the Far east and Africa. This involves consultancy, quality control of installations and training.

Garmin round Britain race boat. From a bare hull this boat was completely re-engineered by MDS Marine.. Powered by development engines and MSA surface drives she attained speeds in excess of 70 knots.

This Solent fort required re-furbishment. Our engineers had to be flown in to re-commission the generators and hydraulics

Support and Maintenance

We provide training courses at our premises as well as worldwide. We will supply a genuine engine, drive unit or gearbox so that those being trained can work hands on. We supply training material and technical support.

We will design a training and support course. In addition we can provide reviews of your existing maintenance program

The X9 general purpose commercial craft with landing craft capability is ideally suited to diving operations, anti-terrorist work and general commercial operations. Powered by Marine Diesel engines it is capable of 40 knots and more.
